2010 Maine Moose Hunts The Moose is the largest and most majestic member of the deer family. The vast Northern Maine woods is an excellent habitat for Moose and they thrive in abundance throughout the region. Maine Moose hunting falls into the "World Class" category and is often a once in a lifetime opportunity! In the state of Maine, Moose hunters are chosen by state lottery only. Registered Maine Guides, Len Eastman, Mike Guilbeault, and Craig Hammond are offering guide services for the 2009 Maine Moose Hunt in zones 2, 3, 5, 6, and 11. We have been riding the roads, hunting, fishing, and exploring in Aroostook and Penobscot counties for over 25 years. We know the area! As your guide, we will help locate a Moose, field dress it, and get it out of the woods for you. We are experienced in the art of "calling" and have found this to be a very effective method for bringing in the bull Moose.
We also are equipped to offer Moose retrieval services in zones 2, 3, 5, 6, and 11 for anyone needing "on the spot" help during their hunt. Just give us a call on our cell phones!
Guided Moose Hunts are $800.00 plus gas, for the week. Moose Removal is $150.00 base. Extra charges may be applied depending on the location and difficulty of the pull.
